Possible Appendicitis For My 4 Yr Old? Posted: 04-30-04 07:22am
My son, this morning (during the
night)several times waking up during the
night crying in pain for a bit then he
would stop and a bit later start again.
The at 3am thats when he vomited. Then he
never complained of pain after that he ate
half of his lunch and was fine. Then he
went to the dr's he was scheduled to got
for a checkup and he was doing fine but he
had developed a fever there and the doctor
said he was quite warm and took his temp
it was a fever of 37.6 c he is also off
balance when he stands.
Then as we were driving home he got sick
twice on the way home and since then he
has been lying down. I did give him some
children's graval but I never thought the
symptoms could be appendicitis until I
called his daycare and the teacher said it
could be the symptoms but to watch him
closely so if he is still feels sick by
morning I will take him to the er. I just
took his temp since the dr did (roughly a
2hr span) it is now 38.5 c! :
please need some advice never had this
happen before I know my son hasn't been
sick like this since he was 2 when he had
croup

Hi, I am a 16 yeart old girl, and I had my
appendix out when I was 14
your sons symptoms sound a lot like mine,
I think you should definetly go get him
checked out right away. I started with
pain, then it would come and go, then I
would get sick about every half an hour
for about 12 hours, and I got a fever.
You should take him in
