This is a convo over myspace (have to read bottom to top..sorry)

because he's your son. You need at least a few hours of alone time. Everyone thinks it's bull that you bring Abby over here. It's nothing against her they all think she's nice but they think yiu shouldn't bring her over your exs house especially when you have a new baby

I hang out with Abby during the weekends. I hang out with her all the time. I can't really see any reason why I need to come out just me.

Yeah, it's nothing against her..well sorta. She's part of the reason Devon left me but still.. It's a time that Devon and Alex should be spending without her. Devon doesn't wanna be daddy but wants to be around. Then DON'T bring your gf. The ONLY reason he brings her with him into town the 2 days a week is so they can screw in his car on his way home from class...

Ok. Devon's reply and them my response back to him.

everyone is mom, heather not so sure about brandon but I think so.
It's not really their business but I kinda thought the first time you saw Alex you should be by yourself.
I DO want to be friends with her.
I know you plan on being with her. I want you in his life and I don't care if he's in hers. It's just every once in a while you should spend some alone time with him.
I really don't have a problem with her being here as I have said. It's just I don't know... you don't think you should have some time alone with him? If you can't bother to spend even a few HOURS away from Abby to spend with Alex alone, don't bother even trying to be here for him. It's nothing against Abby just the fact you can't take time to see him alone. I really like Abby i do. She's GREAT for you and I think she'd be a wonderful influence in Alex's life.

First, who is everyone?
Second, how is it their business?
Third, I thought you wanted to be friends with her?
Fourth, she is the one I plan on being with, so if he is in my life he is in hers.
Fifth, if you don't want her there, then don't expect that I will be coming by for any extended periods of tie, because she will be waiting for e in the car

I'd tell him to foget about it. Obviously he cares more about some dumb girl than his own son.

yeah, I totally agree. Devon is a TOTAL jerk!! I have a guy WILLING to be here for Alex. Even if we break up he still wants to be Alex's daddy...

I was just trying to be nice and let Devon be a part of his son's life. Guess that's not what he wants

princess, be honest. You are hoping the moment he sees his son he will fall in love with him and see the error of his ways, right?

Devon was with Abby BEFORE he met you, right? Doesn't that make you the other woman? You'd think he wouldn't bring Abby because it must hurt her to see the result of his cheating on her with you. He's clueless.

If my ex/baby's daddy brought his current girlfriend over to see MY baby for the first time, there'd be some serious ball-kicking going on...

So if you marry Dallas is Dallas going to adopt Alex? If he does, then he is Alex's dad, and you won't have to worry about him asking who his real dad is.

No.. Devon was with ME first. ..

I WAS hoping Devon would fall in love with Alex the first time he saw him but no such luck Sad

I actually thought about some ball-kicking lol

Yes, if I marry Dallas he is going to adopt Alex... Well, what if Devon comes around wanting to see him. I would think either Alex would wonder who he is or Devon would tell him.

Devon won't be Alex's legal parent if Dallas adopts him. It would be as if a biological parent came over to see their child while he was at home with his adoptive parents. That's a huge no-no.

Devon would have NO parental rights and no financial responsibility if Alex is adopted by Dallas. It's exactly the same thing as couples who adopt children. Their ties with their biological parents are severed.

You are still in love with Devon. As soon as you get over him, and meet the right guy, you will be very thankful for getting Devon out of your life and your child's life.

the only reason i still have even a little feeling for devon is because of Alex.

but devon plans on giving up his rights anyways so, yay!

easier for Dallas to eventually adopt, right?
