drowsiness and weight gain with Lyrica ? Posted: 02-06-08 16:33pm
I've been given Lyrica to go with my
Cymbalta. I read there's only about 30%
success rate. Also, 2 side-effects are
excessive drowsiness and weight gain.
Needless to say, I don't want either of
these side-effects. Especially since
I'm working really hard to lose weight on
my own.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

i hope that you find help with this. I
dont know a whole lot about the meds for
this. What kind of diet do you follow? do
you think that you could limit weight gain
with a diet and the exersise?

I eat what I want, but control portions
and daily calorie intake. Right now the
only exercise I get is walking the dog.

Walking the dog Posted: 02-08-08 14:21pm
The dog is almost 60# and would drag me
around town if I let her. I am able to
walk a few blocks. This should pass soon
and I'll be able to walk her more.
