i'm 15. and i've been having headaches or
about 2 months now. they've gotten worse
and worse each day. My doctor thought it
was a sinus infection. But they put me on
medication for that, and nothing happened.
So they took blood and did a ct scan. They
found that i was anemic and there was
nothing wrong with the CT scan that they
could see, but they werent sure because
one of the images got blurred. So they put
my on muscle relaxents. Those didnt do
anything. there are my syptoms- Confusion.
Lose of Memory. Headaches on one side of
my head. on a scale of 1-10 its a 10.
vison is blurred in my right eye. I dont
act like myself. and my neck is always
stiff.
Ive looked up about what it could be but
didnt really find anything. I mean, the
internet is good. But im no doctor.
so, please tell me what could be wrong
with me.
Ive been staying home alot because of this
and cant even consentrate to do much. I
barly could right this without getting
angry or forget what im doing. its taken
me a while to write this.
so please please please help.

Do you have headaches daily for 2 months
or you get attacks of headaches with
headache free period in between?
Is it always a one side headache?
Do you get the worse headaches in the
morning?
Is the headache preceded and/or
accompanied with blurred vision,
confusion, loss of memory?

Have you noticed that the headache gets
aggravated by physical activity?
Do you feel nauseous while experiencing
headache?
Do you have excessive sensitivity of
light, sound and smell?

Hi. I have had similar symptoms for a
while now and I am 24 years old. From what
I've learned, you may be dealing with one
or more of several conditions. There could
be something wrong with your thyroid (have
your doctor check this out by doing what
they call a "panel"), it could be anxiety
(may not be, but, it's worth checking
out), stress, something in your diet. If
you're anemic, then you're not getting
enough iron which means you probably
aren't getting enough protein either. You
should make sure that you consume foods
that are good for your body like fruits,
meats and/or nuts, whole grains, and
vegetables while making sure to have some
of each every day. The foods we eat can
really affect our bodies, so it is
important to eat the right stuff. Also, it
is probably a good idea to get out and
exercise. The less you dwell on what's
"wrong with you" the sooner you'll feel
better. Definitely get to see a doctor. In
the meantime, to help ease your headaches,
I've found that Excedrin works very well
along with a good nap. Journaling may help
too- atleast you can release some of your
frustration because it isn't healthy to
keep a lot of stuff bottled up inside.
And, prayer works better than any of the
things I've mentioned above. Good luck! I
wish you the best and I'd like to
encourage you by saying that things will
get better.
