Q: on pill with sore nipples and swollen breasts

I have been on birth control for the past 6 years, since age 17 (I am now almost 23) and for the past few days my nipples have been sore and my breasts are a bit swollen. I do have a boyfriend and we have sex regularly. I got my period one and a half weeks ago, but at the same time had a horrible case of the flu, so it was lighter than usual, but crimson red. Because of the nipple sore, does that mean I am pregnant?

No it doesn't. You can have sore nipples for many different reasons. The flu can do that for one!! You are probably just recovering from the flu. I don't think you are pregnant, but it can happen even on a pill, so if you missed your next period, then you would be worried and want to take an HPT.

But I really do think you are OK. Smile

Now off the pill, feels pregnant but Preg test shows negative
I'm 30 yrs old. I was taking Diane 35 on November, then I felt depressed so my doctor advised me to quit taking it. I got a mild bleeding after 1 week in december. Then it was normal on January. But now, i'm already 2 weeks late. I'm having unprotected sex with my husband, so I took a preg test on the 1st week & the 2nd of my delayed period. The results are negative but I'm feeling all the symptoms of pregnancy-- swollen tender breast, bloated, having some weird cramps, feels like vomitting.

What is happening to my body? Please advice! :_(

You can have quite a few withdrawal effects from the pill. It might take a while for them to subside. Talk to your doctor about getting some relief if you feel you cannot handle the effects.
