Hi everybody, im new here and this seems like just the place for me to ask my question...So about a week 1/2 ago my g/f and i had unprotected sex but i pulled out and im pretty sure nothing happened. We both know about pre-cum so we wanted to be safe, so we went and bought Plan B and she took it within 72 hours ( i think it was 62 hours to be exact)...being as STUPID as we are we had unprotected sex again over the weekend (i pulled out) and she took Plan B again to make sure everything was ok (this time she took it in exactly 17 hours)...Now that you know all of this, is there a high chance of her getting/being pregnant?? Honestly becoming parents is the LAST thing we want to happend at the moment...I know most of you reading this probably think we are morons but that's why we decided to ask you guys for help. When she finally turns 18 we will get on BC but until then we wont be having anymore sex...Thanx for all your help!!!! Smile

I dont know if you live in the US but if she goes to the health dept you can get BC without parental consent. Also pretty much every store sells condoms.

Shes not pregnant but Plan B is emergency contraceptive and shouldnt be taken that often. Shell prob end up missing a period because of all the hormones.

As Dani said that many hormones is really going to screw with her cycle. She won't be pregnant, but she'll probably be early or late or have something really wacky go on. If you can get on birth control before she turns 18, try to do this. I don't know why you'd have to wait that long, but in any case, you probably should be talking to your parents about this. They can get her on birth control and help pay for it, or if they have a plan, it might be completely covered. Buy some condoms just in case because as you may have realized, it's pretty hard to stop yourself and they're always good to have just in case.

so if you dont want to be parents yet then buy condoms boy jeesh pull out is not i repeat NOT a method of birthcontrol. you are responsible for your own actions you want sex then put a condom on it pretects from std as well as pregnancy.

You have access to Plan B but no access to birth control?

There are a couple of things you two need to do. Stop relying on Plan B for birth control is the first thing. She is not pregnant this time. However, Plan B is not as effective as birth control pills. Nor is it as effective as condoms and spermicide. In addition, her body is going to get messed up with all those hormones! - I bet her period is late and you two will be stressing out over it.

Don't say 'we aren't sleeping together until she turns 18' - because that probably isn't true. Both of you may have said something similar the first time you got carried away. And it happened AGAIN.

Prevention. Prevention. Prevention. Get condoms (they are at nearly every store around!). Get birth control (there is a family planning clinic - planned parenthood - in every major city in the USA). There is no reason to have an accidental or unplanned pregnancy.

First off Plan B should be used as a ONE time thing... the pharamist themselves should have gone over this with her and its side effects for double dosing... I highly doubt she is pregnant however why isnt she simply on birthcontrol? Plus Plan B is expensive? Isnt it cheaper just to carry some condoms on you? PM me your addy I will mail you some!

Any clinic can perscribe her birth control without parental consent.

As per your title, "yea, im stupid", I don't think you are stupid so much as maybe a little selfish. You are putting her body through hell and making her sick just so you can have fun.

ok first of all that really angers me off, i would never do that so don't ever say that...second of all SHE was the one who wanted to do it without condoms and i am not kidding about that. yea i should have told her "NO" and zipped up, that's my fault, basically it was both our faults but don't ever say i would put her through all this just so i could have fun, that's total bull...and we would get on BC except the planned parenthood near wont let her buy it without parental permission, i'm 18 and they wouldnt let me buy it for her and if her parents and my parents for that matter found out about this, POOF!! there goes our relationship cause our parents would not let us see eachother again...we know we should have used condoms just at the moment we didnt have any cause we had already used all of them previously...anyways we will figure out sumthin, thanx for helpin

Thats BS my mom is a total contributor to planned parenthood you legally do not have to be 18 to go there that is why it is there... have you looked into other clinics?

future shock only said that because plan B can really screw up your system especially taken twice.

how old are you guys? have a female over 18 friend go in for her then.

or have her be honest with her parents about wanting to be on birthcontrol even if she isnt honest for the reason... she can say shes been having weird periods and would like to get on it to regulate herself.

Planned parenthood does not require parental permission. Ever. Planned parenthood is more than likely going to be FREE for your girlfriend as well.

Have you honestly gone there? Because, if you had, you would know that the law does NOT require a parent's consent for birth control.

Planned Parenthood health centers strive to provide services that are confidential and affordable, especially for teens. But for one reason or another, health care providers in certain locations may not be able to guarantee complete confidentiality. To find out about the Planned Parenthood health center near you, call 1-800-230-PLAN.

How about you call them right now Wink

Wait. Plan B is most definitely birth control. Why would they give her that without parental consent but not regular birth control. That doesn't make any sense at all.

If that part in bold is true, then I apologize.

How old is your gf? How does she not understand the risk she was taking by not using condoms? You are an adult, and yes you should have absolutely refused, but she is as much at fault as you.

you can get birth control at PLANNED PARENTHOOD FOR FREE UNDER !* WITH NO PARENTS

and if anyone told you otherwise they are full of it
she needs to be tested for stds
and so do you

oh and yeah dont ever ever take planned B twice in one month

your right its both of your fault
anyways go to PP and get on BC and if she is preg they can help her with options. she can have an abortion if she wanted. just seriosuly if you love her make her get on BC because if sex would tear you apart if your parents found out you ARE risking it you know
you could loose her

if you take plan b that close together then the 2nd one wont work. thats what happened to my friend she took the plan b pill twice and the 2nd time she took it. it didnt work because it was to close together but if you pulled out you should be just fine and you can go to like family planning and they can give you birth control with out a parent so you should try something like that good luck !

just out of curiosity, u guys all said her system will be messed up for a while so does that mean she wont have a period at all or she will just be late?...so far she hasn't had that many symptoms from the plan b and her period is supposed to come soon but she should be experiencing some pms symptoms by now and she hasn't. so should we be worried if she is late or sumthin?
