I have NEVER been on a diet, and get at least 7 or 8 hrs of sleep a night. I don't exercise much. Low blood sugar is what I was worried about. Should I get tested for diabeties?

Go to your doctor. The feeling of nearly falling and passing out could be a drop in blood pressure. The weakness, dizziness and shaking sound like symptoms of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). You should get this looked into to ensure it is not an endocrine related problem or something more serious.
