I have a 10 month old son and he is constantly cramming his entire hand down his throat and making himself sick. Is there anyway I can get him to stop? Its something he has just started to do and im worried that if he keeps it up he might actually hurt himself.

My son is almost 1 month and he does the same thing, I have to distract him from doing it, takes time... but I get him into something else eventually and when I do so he dosnt get sick and puke from doing it anymore. Goodluck!

My son is also 10 months and started doing this. I think he did it once and realized it was a great way to get our attention, because it sounds like he's choking and of course we respond. For about 2 weeks we have not been reacting when he does it and he seems to not do it as much.
Babies are smart and they learn fast what makes their parents jump.
