My doctor perscribed anti-anxiety - Lorazepam a month and a half ago about 1 mg a day...i'm trying to get off it but it is sooo horrid...the problem is is that i have two small children to take care off and I'm feeling major foggy thinking, dizziness, anxiety, heart palps, diaherra...muscle spasms...
does anyone know how long this will last for...it's sooo hard to function day to day....i want my babies to nap all the time just so i can lay in bed and get through this...i can't afford a nanny at this time...but i feel so depressed and alone in this....i feel like i can survive through this being a full-time mother...

You really should talk to your doc about the best way to get off it- you should probably slowly back yourself off, maybe a half a pill for a while, or every other day, and less and less until you're off of it.

But if you don't like your medication, it's always a good idea to talk to your psychiatrist. She can help you get off of it without experiencing those withdrawal effects and also suggest other medications that might work better for you.
