I also have been taking Yaz for almost a year and for whatever reason my period always comes early, at least 2-3 days before my sugar pills. I talked to my dr though and he said its fine, even if you get your period early you are still protected with the pill as long as you take it every day. I don't know if your medicine coulda done that, but you have nothing to worry about
