Hondas are the best. My father has been selling them for 30 years...he is one of the best Honda salesmen in the country *brag moment*. I found out last year that they still show him in a video for "new sales recruits!" The video was actually from the early 80's...funny. I don't trust any salesperson because of it...ha ha.

So, I think you should go for a Honda. They do last VERY long!!!

i think its more of a show thing. he put a turbo and a cold ait intake,new exaust system and everything before the engine blew out. he also does all the body work himself. he custom modified the fenders and the rear bumper,air vents, roof scoop, etc.
