I am a 30 year old female sexually active with my boyfriend. I have never had any medical problems. I noticed some itching in my vulvar area when we tried new condoms. I did not pay any attention to it. We stopped using the condoms 2 weeks ago because of the irritation. 2 days ago I kind of scratched more than I should and happened to look in a mirror. I noticed a red rash with scaly edges around the opening of my vagina extending a little beyond. My urine does not burn, I do not have any abnormal discharge, odor or abdominal pain. My appointment with the doctor is 3 days away and I am freaking out. Could someone please tell me what this is.
