Q: Glans painful when foreskin is pulled back

Hi, I am a 16 year old guy currently experiencing problems with the glans part of the penis. What I am asking may well be common knowledge (however I have not heard anything about this) so please efrain from shooting me down.

I am uncircumcised, and struggle to reveal the "head" of the penis as the foreskin is quit tight, however once it is revealed it is incredibly uncomfortable to touch and slightly painful. I was wondering whether this is a normal experience and whether it would eventually become painless to touch. It is not a pressing issue for me at the moment as my girlfriend is away for several months but any help woul be greatly appreciated.

Than you in advance.

There's a chance that you may have a degree of phimosis (foreskin that doesn't retract). In extreme cases you may need a surgical operation to fix this but if you go to a doctor, there's a chance you may be prescribed topical steroid cream in order to gradually loosen the foreskin. If the foreskin is tight, and generally covered all the time, the glans will naturally be more sensitive because it remains unexposed. Once the foreskin becomes easily retractable or removed entirely, the sensitivity will reduce over the course of a number of weeks.

the glans is very, very sensitive, and it is common for it to hurt if touched or simulated without any sort of lubrication. Try using a water based lubricant and see if it hurts then.
