hello here it goes L4-L5 mild discogenic disease/disc desiccation as evidenced by loss of T2 signal and some loss of disc height. There is diffuse broad-based posterior disc bulging, mildly effacing the ventral thecal sac. Mild bilateral facet arthropathy is present.

If you want to know what discogenic disease is it's basically degeneration of the intervertebral disc. Over time, repeated daily stresses like standing up, sitting improperly and minor injuries begin to affect the discs in your spine. Minor injuries to an intervertebral disc may not cause pain at the time of the injury but can build up and from wear and tear - the disc begins to degenerate.
