How much do panic attacks/anxiety limit you from going out? I am 24 and can only handle one or two(max) social outings a week. I never go to clubs, or bars. But if I spend too much time with other people I start feeling overwhelmed that I don't "have enough time." Sounds strange, but that's the best way to describe it. I live with my fiance and spending time with her doesnt effect me. But anyone besides her and I start feeling anxious, like I want to run.

They used to limit me completely!!! But after being on meds for years I joined a cognitve training group and learned how to give myself relief from my anxiety and get off my meds for good. I highly recommend CBT or if you are disciplined pick up a copy of the book by Sam Obitz and just start doing the TEA form exercise in it and you will reduce your anxiety and give you your life back. They are hard to do at first but once you get the hang of them they really help you and you can dive into life again Very Happy

Especially eHealthy
Try look up CBT- cognitive behavioral therapy

It's a therapeutic technique for beating anxiety, and has really high effectiveness rates. Although you can see a psychologist who will administer it, and this will give you the best chance of success, there are many self-help books and such out there that will teach you the same thing.
