It's good to know that HPV types 16, 18, 31, 33, and 39 have a higher risk of progressing to cancer and that 70% of cervical cancer cases are linked with types 16 and 18.
Serology results provides informations about the cumulative exposure to the virus (people with high antibody levels for HPV have been longer and more often exposed to HPV virus)
