I have a problem with bugs at my apartment. I stay at a friend's house, and it happens there too. I think both must be infected.

A little background:

They are too tiny to see. They crawl on my body (not just my hair), and they bite. I don't believe they are bed bugs. I see no fecal matter, and bed bugs are nocturnal; these work during the day.

I wonder if it might be fleas. Can they be that small?

I bombed my apartment for fleas, along with some non toxic stuff. I laundered all clothes and bedding hot. They came back.

They are worse the second night, after laundering bedding, so I think they may live in fabric.

Is there some kind of insect that lives on you, that would crawl on your body and not just your hair? I believe lice and crabs just crawl in your hair. Also, if they are only localized to me, why would they get worse the 2nd and 3rd nights progressively after washing the bedding?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Sounds like scabies. They are microscopic little parasites that live like mites in dust and bedding. You'll need to apply a special cream to your skin, if diagnosed. But go see a dermatologist! You'll need a diagnosis.
