Unless anyone else has tried it....

I've been on EMASAM for about 5 months. It is very, very effective for PTSD (anger, flashbacks), but it has not helped with my anxiety and depression. Also, no side effects or weight gain! But you must avoid certain foods if you exceed 6 mgs.

I take Abilify for depression (knocked is right out), and Oxazepam for Anxiety (works ok - a bit tired).

My friend has been taking Nardil for 30 years. He says it took away all of his inhabitions and turned him into a sex maniac. After 6 years he started to go to sexaholic classes and after 3 1/2 years of that has overcome this addiction. He says it broke up his marriage. He seems to be fine now. He also takes Lithium.

I have been on 6 mg emsam for a year and have had no side effects except insomnia. It has been great for me.

Hey Katie. I, too, had the same problem with EMSAM. Are you taking anything for the insomnia?
