Well what brand of birth control are you on? I am on Yaz and my doctor did tell me that I would urinate alot more often because the synthetic progesterone in Yaz also acts like a water pill. In other words to prevent bloating you will in turn urinate alot more often. I've definately noticed that I have to pee alot more and can't hold it as easily but I don't have times when I feel like I need to pee and dont have to. That does somewhat sound like a UTI. What I would do is just keep an eye on whats happening and maybe a little cranberry juice wouldn't hurt as an experience but I doubt its anything to seriously worry about.

I have also had the constant urge to pee since being on Lutera... it's driving me insane, but my doc says its not a uti and there's nothing wrong with me... i figure it MUST be the pill...

I am in the same situation as you guys. I have been on Marvelon 28 for about two years now, it is a combination pill that has synthetic desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol. Yup I wake up a lot to go pee during the night, except I actually have to pee, it like me body doesn't absorb the liquids I'm drinking. And just like you guys, it comes and goes depending on the time of the month. The week just before my period, its really awful. But it doesn't hurt its just annoying.
