i am on my first month of brith control
and i feel like i havfe to pee all the
time. i started my period yesterday so i
now i am not pregnant and it almost feels
like im getting a uti but it comes and
goes and doesnt hurt near as bad just very
aggravating. itll wake me up in the middle
of the night thinking i have to pee and
then i dont.. any help would be nice

Well what brand of birth control are you
on? I am on Yaz and my doctor did tell me
that I would urinate alot more often
because the synthetic progesterone in Yaz
also acts like a water pill. In other
words to prevent bloating you will in turn
urinate alot more often. I've definately
noticed that I have to pee alot more and
can't hold it as easily but I don't have
times when I feel like I need to pee and
dont have to. That does somewhat sound
like a UTI. What I would do is just keep
an eye on whats happening and maybe a
little cranberry juice wouldn't hurt as an
experience but I doubt its anything to
seriously worry about.
