Hi there,

I have this problem and i've had it for a fair few months and i was hoping it would simply go away what's wrong is basically when i pull my foreskin back the head of my penis smells very bad it's really bad odours and sometimes it has little white bits on the skin of the foreskin when it's pulled back it's really revolting and i'm too embarrased/scared to go to a doctor.

I have a girlfriend but we've only ever used condoms during sex i've been with her for 2 years. Never been with anyone else sexually she had thrush but that was 3 years ago through medicine and she had it treated so that would be the only real way i thought i could get it from her but i don't think it is her at all.

I've tried washing it with and without soaps and liquids nothing has changed.

Anyone know how to treat or what this is?

It's a major strain for us sexually and i feel really bad for my girlfriend for even knowing i have this.

I've never had bad smells down there ever in my life also, this is a first.

Many thanks.

It's not a question of whether it is you or her - you have an infection and you need to get it sorted out. It does sound more like a yeast infection than anything else but how can you expect anyone on here to diagnose it?

Get to a doctor and don't be such a woose!

It could be smegma.

If you don't dry yourself off, or wash yourself off immediately after sex, moisture and other sexual fluids can gather underneath your foreskin and create this white pasty stuff. It can also be responsible for the smell.

Try washing right after sex, and making sure you're dry when your foreskin is retracted. If it persists, there might be something more there, which is something only a doctor can figure out.
