This is bugging me. At any time I know that I can have sex with her. But the thing that is pulling me back is my foreskin and that's why I'm just making up excuses not to have sex. I know pretty much all the guys in my school are circumsized and dont have a foreskin, and I'm sure she has never seen one with a foreskin before. And I'm really scared that when we're gonna do it I'm gonan pull my pants down and shes ognna think it's like nasty and weird looking. Plus then I know evetually after that people will find out and will make fun of me.

I don't know, I wish I could just get circumsized, but my mom said not until I'm 18. =[

It shouldn't really matter. Some circumcized guys actually would prefer not to be.

How old are you?
If you are with someone who cannot accept your body for what it is, do you really want to be with them?

What are the statistics for this? I would be surprised if most guys are circumcised. I am sure that most people would have no preference, so long as you take care of it and practise good hygiene, as smegma can have future health implications for females.

Okay, I just checked and it seems that around 80% of males in the US are circumcised but in the UK (where I lve) it is only about 20%.

Many men report that after having a late circumcision (ie in adulthood) they experience a loss of sensitivity so take more advice on this before making a decision!

I'm 15.

I do clean it and wash it, everyday. And it doesn't smell. I know she really cares about me and won't dumpo me for it. But I don't want her or me to be embarrsed. Sad

If this is something you will definitely do after you're 18, you may as well get the circumcision ASAP. Why put up with three years of worry? It would also help a lot in terms of your sex life because you will need to become used to the changes. It's better to get it over and done with now then waiting until you're 18.

ok, this isnt the mens chat, so i shouldnt get kicked out for this. lol.
really, as long as you keep it clean she shouldnt care. my boyfriend isnt circusmcsized, and he just came out and told me. its totally not a problem, and i was never grossed out by it. as long as he keeps it clean its totally fine!
there isnt anything wrong with being uncircumsized, some guys are and some guys arent. try just telling her, and if she has a problem with it, she isnt worth it. if she really cares about you and/or loves you, she wont care if you have a foreskin.

Agreed 100%

Hopefully she hasn't seen so many penises that she would have a lot to compare to

Being worried that other people might think having a foreskin is weird is not a good enough reason to cut it off. when i was 15 i was still very much influenced by the things my friends and peers did but when you get a bit older this changes. i think your mum is right, you should wait before making such a rash decision. i did a lot of stupid things when i was 15 that i wish i hadn't done. dude, think about it. you can always cut it off, you can NEVER put it back. you could reach 20, 25, even 30 and think wow what the hell did i do that for??

if your foreskin is not causing you any medical problems then leave it where it is! if your girlfriend cares about you then she won't mind at all. and if she is smart she will know that having a foreskin is in fact normal and natural.

if your girlfriend loves you, why should she care? a penis is a penis. circumsized or not it is still a penis. and i agree with what unnamedny said, if she does care about the fact that you are not circumsized, she doesnt deserve you.

but the only way you will find out of she does care. is tell her. you cant go on worrying forever. thiers no use putting it off =]

I second that Smile And you may want to try to tell her first, if you think by unzipping ur pants might scare her, but really, there should be no problem if she really cares about you.

It really should be a non-issue. Seriously, it's a piece of skin. You said yourself you don't smell down there, so chances are she won't care. If she does care, she's too superficial to be your girlfriend.

She definitely shouldn't care. If she does, you deserve much better than her. It's just skin. You keep it clean and healthy, so there shouldn't be an issue.

Don't worry pal
I'm from the UK and next to no ones circumcised, so really really don't worry. That could be the least of yr problems if you're anything like me - haha! Check out my blog prematureejaculation.blog.co.uk it's a lighthearted look at the problem and solutions. Please feel free to add comments and words of wisdom - Craig

my bf is not circumsized adn when he did tell me I ws like "so what?" I didnt think it was a big deal and it was s relief for him to tell me (he was nervous about it too) I didnt go tell all my friends in school because while some of my friends would talk about things like that i would just stay away from the conversations. I loved hima nd did not want to embarass him.

but you should realy think about it before you get the circumcision done, like galaxy said you could lose sensetivity

Circumcised as an adult
I was circumcised as an adult and had huge complications after surgery. I wouldn't have had it done if I could go back. However, It's all good now. There is little difference as far as sex is concerned...Maybe a little less sensative but the upside of that is that I last much longer in bed. I do like the fact that it doesn't smell now but really... as long as you keep it clean, who cares. Hpe this helps

There is no need for you to get circumcised. I was circumcised at birth and wish my parents were no so stupid and uncaring at the time. Although my penis does work fine - the thing that really bothers me above all others is that someone took something that was perfectly healthy from me for a reason no other than, "this is was we do in America"

Keep your foreskin, you girlfriend will probably not even care. Like the others said, if she does.. She doesnt deserve you.. 90% or more of the worlds males are intact, its only in America that most people get circumcised for no reason at all. If the rest of the world are clean and healthy, and the women too.. I think there is something wrong with saying a foreskin is dirty.. Its called hygiene.. its up to the individual to take care of the foreskin.. Cutting if off, not the solution.
You will be fine.. Enjoy it.. I sure wish I was still had mine.
