No, your mucous plug can regenerate itself. There's no risk unless your water was to break. Then you would need to deliver within 48 hours. How far along are you?

No, you can't get an infection. Every woman and every pregnancy will be different. Some women lose it weeeeeks before they deliver, while some lose it a day or two before.

Good luck on your delivery when it happens!

Thank you for your message!!! It feels like I could go at anytime with the menstrual cramping and pains. But I have heard that it can last for weeks.

Mucous Plug
As of last Wednesday, I had dilated 1cm. Since my mucous plug fell out, my body has experienced several changes. It feels like it is in full gear, for sure!!!
