Has anyone had an mri, and had this come up?
My son has had extreme vision change, along with double vision. Mri was ordered.
How is this treated?
Thanks,
Diana

Paranasal sinus thickening is something to do with chronic sinus infections and I think it involves some bone loss above the upper molars. I believe it can be reconstructed but beyond that I am not sure. I hope your son is not in too much discomfort - I had a maxillary abscess and it was just awful!
