I broke up with my ex however we continued
to sleep with each other for a few months
afterwards. I got checked out after i
slept with him for the very last time and
was given the all clear. It's been almost
8 months now and i've just found out
through a friend that he gave his most
recent girlfriend chlymidia. He told his
girlfriend that he possibly caught it
before i slept with him for the last time.
Would the chlymidia have actually showed
up straight away if i had only just caught
it off him, or could i still be at risk?

I'm not sure of the incubation period for
chlamydia, but it's a serious enough
disease that I'd personally go get tested
again.

Chlamydia can remain asymptomatic for many
months in both males and females. Get
another test for this. Antibiotics can
take care of the infection.
