Q: circular pattern on palm

Hi,

A few years ago I developed a strange skin pattern on the palm of my hand. It basically looks like a small raised circle, a few millimetres in diameter. After having shower/bath, it can be peeled off but always grows back. Recently a second one has appeared about an inch from the first one, and I think I can see some other tiny ones appearing too. It doesn't hurt but I'm worried that it's a fungal infection or a viral thing or something. Anybody know? I'd like to get rid of them.

Thanks.

It is really difficult to diagnose skin conditions without looking at them. There may be a possibility that it is a wart as they have irregular patterns. Perphas if you could provide a picture, a better diagnosis could be provided. If it is a wart and is not causing any problems then it is best left untreated. Again a picture would really help. Also you could check out the dermatology atlas at the link mentioned below to compare your skin condition with the ones present. http://dermatlas.med.jhmi.edu/derm/. Try looking at pictures of warts. Otherwise browse through it and reply with an image which looks similar to your condition. The best thing would be to take a picture and post it.

After having re read your post I doubt it is a post becuase you are saying that it peels off. Warts do not peel of. Please do provide a picture because proper diagnosis of skin conditions depend on picture.
