Q: B12 deficiency causing achey, jerky muscles ?

Hey, lately all of the muscles in my body have been really jerky and stiff. It's like they can't make a smooth movement, and shake a lot when I use them. After I do something remotely strenuous, they ache for ages afterwards. I also sometimes get tremors in them.

My doctor sent me for a blood test, as she seems to think it's a B12 deficiency. I haven't been eating any differently lately, so can that really be the cause?

Thanks everyone.

Even if you haven't been eating any different lately, vitamin deficiencies can take a while to catch up with you. I hope it is only a vitamin deficiency which is easier to fix than a nervous system problem.

Take you vitamins and up your intake up B vitamins, but also you should take more Calcium, magnesium, and potassium which will help build your muscles, keep them limber, and in control.
