The only way you could gain that much weight - even while pregnant - is by consuming a lot of calories. Has your doctor said anything about this weight gain? 32 lbs in 2 months is not healthy for you or the baby. You should slow down your caloric intake. You don't need much more calories per day than you did before - only 300. It takes 3500 calories to make a pound.

The optimum weight gain during pregnancy is 20-30 lbs. You've already gained over that amount. Talk to your doctor about a healthy 'diet' (I hate saying that since you are pregnant) for you.

As Ingi said, 32 lbs in two months is quite a lot of weight to gain. Talk to your doctor about what you can do.

I found a pregnancy BMI calculator which tells you how much you should gain for your height and weight.

do you mean drugs or the soda? if its drugs then this could be normal. Ok I did meth for 3 years and I was about 95 pounds and I am 5'4"
Of course I looked scary but I was doing dope. Well I gained about 25 pounds in a couple of months, like 2 months to be exact when I finally quit. Then I continued to gain weight steadily until I hit about 140. Which is a healthy weight for my height right now. SO maybe this is happening to you? See for me I started when I was 15 so I never got to fully develop until I was about 19 when I stopped. Now my body has had time to mature and now this is what my body is supposed to be. I dont know, but the drugs certainly played a part in my situation.

Dont forget how underweight you were, being anerexic and 100 lbs. A lot of times woman dont get pregnant until they reach a healthy weight. If you were 120 at christmas then thats only 12 lbs over 2 months but added to your previous 20 lbs seems like a lot. I think this initial weight was just to make up for how underweight you were. Good for you! Stay Healthy for you and the baby. Everything you put in your body goes to the baby. Dont stress the weight gain will probably slow down now that your at a healthier weight. shoudl be about 3lbs a month until liek 30 weeks then its liek a lb a week. But I ranged from 3lbs a month once I even gained 9lbs in one month! But not in the begining. Good luck and Congratulations!
