Fibromyalgia medication Posted: 02-01-08 07:25am


I have Fibromyalgia for 20 years. I am now 60. I have severe muscle pain and have not found anything that helps. There are times that I am unable to walk more then a few feet even in my own house. Has anyone found a medication that helps without making you into a zombie???

Hi. I can certainly empathize with you. It is such a hard condition to diagnose and treat. I'm sure you'd like to eliminate fatigue and soothe your muscle pain. Any ideas?

Didn't tell us your planned major. Unless you plan a military career or will receive a scholarship based on your activities (and need that scholarship), your apprentice/volunteer activities should be enough to show leadership and commitment. Concentrate on obtaining the highest possible grades prior- and post-admission to UCLA. Grades count the most. * 1 week ago Source(s): Per medicine major: definitely don't consider the volunteer military programs, focus on excellent grades instead.
