Please do not accept insurance from your employer if the insurance is Health Net, specifically Health Net of Arizona.
This insurance company actively AVOIDS paying claims and only pays about 25% of their active member claims.
Health Net refuses to accept claims into their system until the claim is Past Timely Filing (PTF) then Health Net accepts the claim and denies the claim because it is PTF.
This leaves the LABOR INTENSIVE burden of proof on the submitter who must then go back and assemble documentation for every time the claim was filed, every time an "Acceptance" response was received from Health Net, drop all this PROOF to paper for each individual claim, and hope Health Net is ultimately obligated to pay at least SOME of their active member claims.
I truly think a regulatory agency needs to look into Health Net.
