Q: high white cell count

Ok so the other day on the way home from work i got really sick to my stomach came home had diahreah then threw up. went to the doctor after that and threw up like 5 times there told him i got sick dont know why and he drew blood to test my white cells cause i told him i had slightly been coughin up mucus for the past 2 weeks and augmenton nor musinex helped so i leave with some neausa meds and 2 days later i get a call to come see him well he tells me my white cells are 19,000 and gave me a really strong antibiotic and wants me to come back to check my cells again . well now im scared 1 y did i get sick to my stomach and throw up like 15times 2 why is my cells high i do have high blood pressure and asmah and take med for uric acid .im just scared i have leukemia or something.please help

well i just go my blood rechecked and the doctor said it went down and what ever was in me is gone and no need to worry yipppeee..
