Razz Hello everyone! i'm new to this site. All the info looks great so I had to sign up to ask a question....
I'm a few days late, I have very mild cramping and some lower back pain, and (This is the wierdest thing) I have had this funky rash on my hand for the past week. Does pregnancy cause rashes to occur?? It's all over my knuckles and is covering most of my right hand. It kinda looks like they are just dried out so I've been trying to put lotion on them but I'm clueless to what this might be from. Any thoughts or opinions??

Yes rashes can be caused by pregnancy, its called PUP (i dont rememer the exact name but you can look it up) Anyways if your only a few days late on your period I doubt that your rash is from pregnancy. I dont think you can find out your pregnant for at least 4 weeks or something too. I would go see my Dr. if I were you because I don't think its related to pregnancy at all because its too early to know if you are or not. Goodluck.

PUP is usually not until the third trimester.

just to let you know i have a skin disease where i too get rashes like you have described. it is call exima i am not sure on the spelling but it not serious there is medication for it but the best thing to use on it is bag balm or vasaline. sometimes when it is really bad ill put the balm or vasaline in a sock or glove and wrap my had in it just try and keep it from getting wet like doing dishes.
