I wouldn't take him to the hospital for crying. Try to figure out what is wrong with him. Hungry? Thirsty? If you can't figure it out call his doctor.

Follow your instincts. If you think it's an emergency, head for the hospital.

Did you take his temperature?
You can't rely on how warm he "feels."
I have a 19 month old too.

There is a lot of sickness going around.

Take his temperature and if he has a fever, take him to the doctor, or call them to ask what is best. They might just tell you to give him 1/2 teaspoon of Tylenol.

Has he had a nap at all? My little one gets so cranky sometimes if she doesn't nap. I have to put on soft music in her room to calm her down and sometimes I just have to let her cry it out. It's hard, but she got the point that bedtime means bedtime.

Sorry!

I didn't realize you weren't in America.

I hope your little one is doing better!

They will take good care of him, try not to worry too much (Although that is next to impossible)

::HUGS!!::
