Justin...
I often times get paranoid when i smoke and have cut back because of that, however there was one instance that i smoked and felt the most positive feeling of my life! Lucky for me that feeling lasted a few weeks, possibly even over a month.
So i know where your coming from with this high lasting so long.
Personally, i feel like it's all in your head..Since your experiencing paranoia you may be over stressing yourself. Maybe your environment wasnt enjoyable at the time?
Just let the thought of that joint go...remember, marijuana only stays in your system for 3-30 days. After that..it's without a doubt all in your mind.
Good luck with conquering this feeling.

Something similar happened to me, I took a hit from a bong, then got high like i had twice before, my heart was beating fast, I got freaked out, then I felt fine the next day. A week later, I started feeling like I was on a marijuana buzz sort of, and its bee going on for nearly two months, I feel like Im in a dream sort of? My mom thinks its anxiety, Im seeing my doctor soon though, but I dont know if I have the same probalem as you, as my feelings started a week after smoking.

Weird Marijuana after-effect...2 weeks later??
right now im having a strange disconnected dreamlike feeling and its been 2 weeks since i smoked weed. This feeling hasn't been ongoing for two weeks i just suddenly started feeling like this today and i haven't been taking any other drugs so i have to assume it must be some kind of weed after-effect. im not a heavy smoker, if anything i do it only once a month at parties and stuff. this is pretty lame though, i hope it goes away ASAP.

Paranoia/anxiety after smoking weed
About a month ago I experienced anxiety/panick attack after taking about 3 or 4 puffs from a joint. It was absolutely horrible, I totally "freaked" out and thought I was going insane for a minute... like i was going to die and had the diconnected dream like feeling also (i still feel like this now, like things arent real)... People who I told about my experience said that the joint was laced, but it wasnt cuz i smoked from the same joint that my boyfriend and another friend did and nothing happened to them. Im not a heavy smoker either, i cud probably count how many times ive smoked on both hands. I cant drink anymore either cuz of what happened.Ive also been to the DR and they said it was only palpatations becuz my heart rate had increased tremendously after a recent panick attack that I had. Its really hard for me to focus on a daily basis. Since then, i get these wierd thoughts and feelings, trouble falling asleep and its really taking a toll on me. I really wish there was someone that could give an estimated time as to how long these after effects will last or any advice on how to help to overcome the way it makes me feel. As for now im just giving it my best and trying to occupy my self with different things to keep my mind off of it!!! Im definately NEVER going to smoke again.
