Hello there, I have a probelm, I don't know if this is the right place or if I should be somehwere else! But it is a 'womans condition' I think so maybe someone can help me. The problem is that I am starting to grow hairs on my face! It is really embaressing. Sad mostly I see them and tweazer them out but sometimes I miss them. I tweazer about 2 or 3 each day and if I didn't I think I would have about twenty or thirty hairs around my chin and the the side of my jaw. They arent like men's beared hairs but they arent like girls hair ether. Do I have a hormon problem, I am not on the pill, please help if you have had this problem, I am starting to get very deppressed.

Unfortunately I think this is a problem of getting older Sad.... As I have aged I have got a lot more facial hair , hairs on my chin that I pluck out like you describe and also a horrid moustache that I either bleach or use a hair removal cream to remove.
It is not nice but completely normal and nothing to worry about.
I know that you can have laser treatment and electolysis to stop it growing back, but its expensive.

May Be Hormonal,
Maybe age...

You didn't say how old you were - this could be just a part of getting older.

On the other hand, if you're on the younger side - it could be a hormonal imbalance, as slight as just being a little off, or to being part of a hormonal imbalnce type syndrome. If you're very concerned about it, i'd talk to a doctor and/or see an endocrinologist who can order some tests to see about how your hormones are working.

Good luck

I Hate Getting Older
Well I didnt think 41 was old!
I can't already be going into the menopause can i?
I saw a woman recently who was probably in her 50s, she had tonnes of hair sprouting from her chin, and in a way I really envied her because she didnt seem at all bothered, not worried about trying to look attractive anymore, but somehow I don't think by bf would be very happy if I just let them grow!

It's definitely a hormone thing. Check with your doctor. When I was on prednisone, I grew hairs. It's a well-known fact.
