This is EXPLICIT...I 've had a lot of the same symptoms I've been reading on the Schizophrenia post, the voices, the feeling that people can read my mind the paranoia ect., but not sure about the phisical things that is happening.
I here several voices but the main one is a male and they wont tell me there names. I gave him a name as he talks a makes remarks all day long. Often when he wants to make a point he nudges at the same time when he talks. We have clear communication except he wont answer important questions. He touches, pokes, jiggles, cools and heats my body, shakes things, makes any part of my body move or jerks or anything physical he wants to. When I'm trying to sleep at night he rolls my eyeballs and other things to anoy me or to let me know he wants attentention.
Like one member said it almost like an invisible friend. Although I'm not quite sure if they are my friends because they started out beating and zapping me and ordering me to do things terrorized me in the begining.

One day all of a sudden he started tapping my vagina, and I'd say, that is very disrespectful. afraid but I would say it anyway. Soon after it tured into a sensation there and then pulses, and something that feels like penetration and feeling like he is trying to give me a climax and sometimes did. I'm taking meds and the voices and sex act with all the sensation is still going on. I am tired of it all but I try not to show how upset I am, and also try not to cuss then too much because every day they show me that they are in charge by sticking me with pins all over my body and other ways. Still HORRIFIED...Schizophrenia or Demonic possesion?

That's pretty weird. I'm having weird sensations too, but different. The devil has invaded my body and is making it cold and shivery. Sometimes I feel like I've descended into hell. He also moves around my forehead and eyeball muscles, frowns and speaks to me about the money I once borrowed as a student. He says they were diabolical loans and that they are invading my whole body, which feels so horrible that sometimes I wish I wasn't alive. In your case I don't think it's demonic posession, but in my case I do wonder. I don't know what to tell you.

Oh, yeah, and I sometimes also sort of wake up in the morning, not quite awake yet, but I'm conscious of being in my bed, and I feel an immaterial being wanting to have sex with me. Its body is warm and cuddly, sometimes it's female and sometimes male. Then I really wake up and its gone.

luvvy- you are on medication, so I'm guessing you are under the care of a doctor?

Tell your doctor what you are feeling, even print out your message to use and give it to her/him. Your doctor should have some insight and possibly help you manage these feelings.

I agree with Philo that it's weird.
I think it's true though, because I also hear voices of people. They seem to know me, my name, family and friends. They have been attacking me daily for 10 years or more. They are telepathic people, who can also make you feel the things that they do. They have anal sex to get on my nerves.
They change my moods sometimes, making me become depressed and they happy.
They have also threatened my family. I don't know why, but everything bad that they are doing they are trying to blame on me, trying to make out that they have a split personality and that they are being me, but I know what they are doing is not what I would have done, so I argue my point. Some are really stupid, I hear them in the background having sex.
I thought they were changing my mind or squeezing it, because I feel pressure above my left or right eye as if my brain was becomming too big to fit my head. I also thought they were changing the color of my eyes, I did have brown eyes, but they changed to a nice deep blue color, a mixture of all colors, a green color and also a brown ring surrounding a blue ring of color.
They talk all day long, non-stop. I don't know how many there are, maybe hundreds. Some seem close by while others seem to be further away. Sometimes they are quite quiet, but at other times they have been deafening.
I know I get a bit paranoid from time to time and have done for over 30 years, but it's like the whole city is out to get me. This includes the local government, even my own family and sister are in on the conspiracy and I think they have been doing it since I was at school.
Anyway I think they may be some kind of demons or maybe an alien race which has come to destroy all of mankind. They also make me smell them from time to time, some smell very different to others.
They can jump out of their bodies and into your body and make you act like them.
I hope you feel better soon and that they leave you and all others they attack alone to get on with our own lives. They must be really sad to be doing such a thing.
Good luck.

Demonical, are you on medication at the moment? These voices must be very wearing, never giving you a minute's peace. They sound like demanding children and they will demand more and more attention till you tell them 'enough!'

You should seek advice from your doctor as to how to quieten them so that you can get some rest and 'me' time! Try to be good to yourself and don't listen to them when they try to annoy you with their demands and silly behaviour!

Hi shonster.
I am not on any medication nor have I consulted any doctor. The last time I was seeing a psychotherapist was in 1997 for depression. I was going to try for another visit, but they said my therapist wasn't there and that I couldn't see her. Then thoughts started going through my mind and I ended losing my mind thinking the reception staff were witches and ran away in panic, never to return.
They can be quite tireing, but my sleep isn't that good anyway, I have only had 2 nights sleep where I have woken up feeling refreshed and full of energy in 25 years. One day in the late 1980's, where I had 3 hours and 15 mins sleep and woke as if I was on top of the world, another was in the 1990's when I was doing a lot of canabis, I was with a dealer's brother and he gave me a df and a sleeping pill and some vodka. It was the first time I had tried pills and after going home and sleeping, I awoke and once again I was full of energy.
I wish I could remember the name of the sleeping pills, I know that they were the same as a type of schitzophrenic pill, but instead of di-*** it was tri-*** or something like that, but never mind.
I did ask my doctor for sleeping pills in the 1980's, but he wouldn't give me any and suggested herbal pills instead, which didn't work. lol
From time to time I do get tired and on sunday was quite bad spending most of the day in bed and then failed to go to work on monday because I was too tired.
I also have short term memory loss, I do things like put the kettle on for a coffee and then remember it's being made about an hour or so later, not sure if this is due to the voices. I got to thinking they move my memory around so that I forget things. Like when my father died, the house was sold, but I forgot about it for 12 years and my sister still didn't give me anything from the sale.
Anyway have a good one.

Very interesting topic... I experience a lot of the same symptoms... the voices of course, but I also feel that when I'm in bed half-asleep, I get the impression of someone in bed with me, a guy or a girl messing around with me. Some of you seem to say you feel this during the DAY though and I am lucky to say I have not experienced that.

Now, I wanted to suggest just one more possiblity here... malicious use of advanced technology! Yes, this could be just a part of our disorder, its all in our heads. Ok, MAYBE its demonic possession, but even being a Christian I find that highly unlikely. Lastly, consider the fact that we are a technologically advanced species with the ability to see down on the planet at fine resolutions, the ability to read thoughts (yes the technology exists PUBLICLY in deceptively primitive forms) and manipulate the mind.

I am personally 99% convinced that due to some poor life decisions that rubbed some people the wrong way, I victimized myself and have become a target of people with access to this technology for the simple purpose of ENTERTAINMENT and abuse. And that said, I'm now at least half convinced that millions of people who are seen with some sort of mental disorder or defficiency are being victimized as well. It seems like everyone around me who is considered "normal" are aware of whats going on with me. I'm constantly called a freak and being put down. They just make it too obvious... I hear the voices of former friends in my head and complete strangers.

Now, its hard to explain why some of you have been dealing with this since the 70's... its hard to imagine the technology existing back then... but we did make it to the moon! And ok, far fetched but PERHAPS we have access to alien technology. And given that the Virgina Tech shooter, the mall shooter, and the megachurch shooter were all considered "weird" and dealing with mental disorders, including schiz, I fail to understand why we let crimes like that actually happen.

Well anyways, just more food for thought.

It's kinda depressing because it seems to imply that "normal" society is apathetic or entertained by the idea of tormenting the rest of us.

random thoughts. what the voices are telling you is not real. You have not rubbed anybody the wrong way, and nobody is using technology to torment you.

Please get a new doctor and he or she will help you to get relief from this.

Demonic Possession
Having read all of your accounts I can clarify that yes it is demonic possesion but please dont be afraid or lose heart this thing can be beaten as I have been through it and am still going through it.

I come from a muslim background but never really practised Islam as I believed in God but preferred to be labelled spiritual rather than follow an organised religion which in my eyes was just rigamarole. However after being wrongly diagnosed with Schizophrenia my father took me to see a religious cleric that explained to me what was really happening. What was happening was manipulation and possession by the Jinn.

The Jinn are servants of the Devil (i know this sounds far fetched) and are hologramic bodies of light that you cannot see or touch. They are like Humans in that they have communities are male, female, gay, straight etc and are structurally superior to humans. Their composition is much like that of the angels bar one important factor they are created of a smokeless flame and are attracted to smoke so quitting smoking is imperative, if you dont smoke then dont start.

They will try their hardest often repeating over and over again the same things to deviate you from the straight path.

The universe is made up of particles and waves and its in that realm that they operate and live, right now in your house there are waves all around you that you dont believe in because your five senses dont pick them up and in fact block the neurons in your brain. We are actually, despite our illnesses at a higher level of consciousness than other people that go about their daily lives unaware of these beings.

They can make you hallucinate, hear their voices (often impersonating people dead or alive, mine have impersonated God and angels!), they can touch you, go into your body and change your gaze and persona, they can try to molest your five senses there are so many ways they have affected people over the generations.

So what do we do about it?

Here are some tips to help you!

1.Try and be as calm and serene as possible
2.Be brave
3.Think positive thoughts
4.Keep your mind busy and productive - the idle mind is the devils playground.
5.Ignore the voices, ignore them - I know its hard.
6.Keep yourself clean, wash everyday.
7.Quit smoking and definitely dont do drugs.
8.If you are religious go to church or mosque.
9.Zikir- this is a remembrance of god exercise and is a way to zap the jinns like you had a laser gun! All you have to do is repeat the names of God according to your religion over and over in your mind - NOT SPOKEN OUT LOUD. So if you're muslim there are 99 names of God like Halim or Muid or Moqtada. In Christianity and Judaism the names are Jehovah, Adonai etc. Look them up on Google. You may see people with Rosary beads what they are in fact doing is using these beads to recite the names of God in their head to keep the Jinn away from them.

Read a book called Spirit, Man Jinn by Ahmed Hulusi, once you have read this book you will feel a sense of relief that you are not alone in your problem and it will give you the answers to your problems like I hope I have in my condensed version here.

Good luck my people

Peace out

Mus

Schizophrenia or Demonic Possession
Hi Folks,

I am a therapist. I practice yoga-breath therapy. In 1984 I was quickly healed of years of emotional problems with yoga breathing. It has changed my life.

Through yoga breathing I have discovered that the spiritual domains actually do exist. Ponder this … the verb “to breathe” is synonymous with “to inspire”. When you breathe in the way of yoga, you are accessing divine healing.

When you hear voices in your head you are hearing spirits. I know this from my personal experience. Don’t listen to the shrinks who tell you this is not reality. That’s how they make their living. There are all kinds of spiritual stuff that can be happening to you, including a “kundalini awakening” or shamanic experiences.

Recently I coached a client who had emotional issues through a breathing session. Toward the end of the session she started screaming, loud and long. At the end of it she said, “There was a spirit inside me. I saw a cloud of white light leaving from my mouth. The yelling made it leave. This is what has been tearing me apart all this time. Now it’s gone.” I did not witness the white cloud, but my personal history told me not to doubt it.

So, here is my coaching to you who feel possessed in any way … get into yoga breathing. People with symptoms of schizophrenia should also do this, whether or not you feel possessed. Find people who are called “rebirthers”. There’s plenty of information on the internet … key words: rebirthing, rebirthers, conscious breathing. When you do the breathing avoid taking any medication, it will diminish the efficacy of the breathing process.

Diet is important. A poor diet, lacking niacin, can have adrenal glands malfunction, causing schizophrenic episodes. Same goes for bad kidneys. Check your kidneys and your diet.

Best wishes to you.
Nick

They aren't demons, they are just voices dont listen to that man
Please dont listen to the man who said it was demonic possession. I hope that you are able to lift yourself out of this situation into better times. I have had very similar things happen to me and I know how all to easy it is to convince yourself its a demonic possession. its not. Its very important that if your meds aren't suppressing your voices for you to try another medication. I understand that when you go through something like this its very difficult to verbalize. its hard to express, and much easier done over the internet. the more you can communicate this to your doctor the better, and let him know the current meds aren't doing the trick. i realize its very difficult going what you are going through. from my experience its best not to attempt communication with voices. it seems to make them worse. even when they are talking to you or asking a question do your best not to react. and remember meds can help you greatly. hang in there. dont give up. remember despite what your going through, meds do the best job of putting it under control.

I really like the idea of Yoga breathing I think I'm definitely going to check that one out as many cultures have their own unique way of dealing with spiritual dilemmas. I'm not going to try and convince anyone that this is definitely demonic possesion but all you have to do is read the bible or koran and read about how Jesus and Muhammad helped rid people of unclean spirits. The Jinn tend to molest people who are at a low point in their lives so getting a job, leading a healhty and productive life is essential. By all means take your medication, for me it just had too many side effects preventing me from leading a productive life. What the medication will do is cut the bio electrical signals in your brain from picking up on these spirits so you will have some peace but at the end of the day you have to lead a productive and healthy life and religion is just one way of giving you the tools to do that, after all prayer hs many meditative effects.

I just wanted to make sure you were all aware of this, it can be read in the topic "What to post here"

admin wrote:
This forum has been created to support and discuss issues related to schizophrenia, whether or not you have been diagnosed with the condition. Please, however, refrain from encouraging cessation of medication. New topics that attempt to convince others to cease medications will be removed.

Additionally, there is no empirical evidence to indicate that mental illness is a sign of demon possession; this belief propagates the thought that mental illness is not a biological disease, that something is wrong with a person’s "thoughts" and that if they would just think differently it could change. "

I would never discourage religious practice or beliefs, I would just suggest that you make sure you are getting adequate medical help as well. I think admin explained this pretty well.

Again, I am not and never will say that spirits don't exist, I just think it's important that we give this horrible (medical) disease of schizophrenia all the respect it deserves. Just as I would never tell someone "It's all in your head," I would also never tell them "It's all in your beliefs."

In spite of all I said above, I don't think that demons exist. They are an internal anomaly of the mind/body. It is not good to give them more power than they have by affirming their existence. Schizophrenia is an intelligent sickness and understands what you believe, blows it up and plays around with it making your illness worse. Therefore it is better to explain these "demons" away rather then affirming them. Anyone visiting this site will do us a service by keeping their radical spiritual beliefs to themselves. Equanimity is key for us, so don't upset us more than necessary.

Schizophrenia
I thought the following websites might interest some of you.
These first 3 websites are about healing schizophrenia holistically … with nutrition and mega-vitamin therapy …also called orthomolecular medicine:
http://www.orthomolecular.org/
http://www.schizophrenia.org/
http://www.orthomed.org/isf/brochure.htm

This site is about specific products that heal mental problems: http://www.truehope.com/main/index.html

This site belongs to Dr. Grof, a psychiatrist in California who heals with yoga breathing. He calls it holotropic breathwork: http://www.holotropic.com/

This site contains a discussion of Dr. Grof’s work, which includes healing people who’ve had spiritual experiences with yoga breathing; what they refer to as transcendent experiences: http://www.spiritmoving.com/papers/SpiritP sychosis.htm

Good luck.

Actually I have changed my mind I dont want my posts removed and I resent being called a religious zealot, as I definitely am not! I love science, my father is a scientist and we regularly talk about scientific matters. In the past Galileo was tortured by men of religion for suggesting that the world wasnt flat and it seems that in the last 150 years science has progressed so fast that the opposite has occured and religious solutions are taboo. If you read what I wrote properly I said that IF you are religious then it could help, and its way down my list of solutions to help overcome this problem. I have read widely about Schizophrenia and can tell you that modern scientists view schizophrenia as largely a chemical imbalance in your brain and while this is true I dont think classical psychologists like Freud should be discredited for their research on this matter. If you're having problems of a sexual nature with these spirits, as I did, they used to touch my penis etc then it could be that like me you need to explore your sexuality with real people more as I discovered that in my case my psychosis was down to intense sexual conflict in my mind. No doctor ever helped me discover this, so you really have to explain your situation as well as you can to your doctor so that they can actually help you.

Galileo was never tortured and didn't say the world wasn't flat. He was put under house arrest for supporting Copernicus' theory that the Earth orbits around the Sun. I just don't see you as an authority.
