Who else is anti-boob job?

What are the benefits of adding plastic to your body?

Uhm... looking bouncy? haha

Aside from looking busty and sexier, I don't know. Well, and the 'sexier' depends. I've seen boob jobs that leave the woman looking as if she had bowling balls glued to her chest. It doesn't look good.

I personally think that little small breasts don't look sexy. Mine are like that. I feel like a boy sometimes because of this. But i would NEVER have a boob job. I don't particularly like the notion of being cut up, having a doctor put stuff in me or out of me, and stitched up. I'll avoid surgery as much as I can.

I'm not so much anti-boob job when it comes to others. If they like having plastic inside their bodies, well, that's their choice. I wouldn't do it to my body, though, even if it did make me look better.

Reconstructive purposes, like after breast cancer.

I personally would not have augumenation done to my breasts (not to say that I have never thought about it). This is what I was born with and I along with my husband are happy with them. Perfect for my 5 ft 2 in, size 6.

If a person gets a boob job to make their parnter happy I think is so wrong & shallow...as to what would happen if that person got sick and had to have one or both removed and reconstructive surgery will not make them 'normal' again. Then your partner may reject you and then you are all by yourself as it was your boobs that he was after and not you.

Personally, if a man wants a boob job, get one done on himself and then he could play with them all day.

Zigemyster......you RULE! Its no one elses business if a person wants to have plastic surgery performed on themself. And for the record, its not PLASTIC.......I have SLILICONE.....the newest on the market....I also, thanks to plastic surgery, have a new "set" or will have before Christmas. To those of us who have had to have a mastectomy..........plastic surgery gives us our self esteem and "womanhood" back. The breast we were "robbed of by CANCER" are replaced by plastic surgery. Its painful.........but in the long run, I can feel almost "normal" again. Once you walk around looking like a deformed camel, you appreciate the modern techinques plastic surgery has to offer. I do agree with Zig, do this for your own self if thats what will make YOU happy. You have to learn to be happy with your own body and not allow ( . ) ( . ) boob jobs to threaten you! In my case, I just want a left one to match my right one.

New ones by Christmas Smile and I'm sure your left will match your right. Isn't technology wonderful? Are you cancer free now?

My mother-in-law was dx'd with breast cancer in Dec 05 shortly after her husband of 56 years was dx'd with lung cancer and when he passed 6 weeks later she had one breast removed and then decided that at her age and without the love of her life that she would only need to wear a prosthetic when out and about.

No F*GM, YOU rule,

~Zig

Having to take put in and take out or readjust "my little friend" is a pain in the butt. I can't wait til its permanent. I was in Walmart and my "little firend" on the left side was almost to my navel....the right boob was up higher.....how long did I walk around in that store looking like a deformed camel? So sorry to hear about your father in law, and hope you mother in law is still cancer free. I am GOOD! No chemo or radiation....very very lucky. HUGS!!!!!!!!!!!

I would only have boob implant like the other mentioned for reconstructive purpose after a breast cancer. Otherwise I love my small boobs.

Cancer... of course. It didn't even cross my mind when i first posted on this thread. That is a very valid reason to get an implant. If I were ever in that situation, i would want to get it, as you say, to not look like a deformed camel. I'm happy to know that you're cancer free, Fairy Godmother!

And i take back my statement about small boobs not being sexy... I guess i'm just a little traumatized by every boyfriend i have had... all obsessed with big boobs, lol. But come to think of it, them being small have a lot of advantages. So what if i have to wear push up bras to look a little bit more feminine? haha.

The secret.....is how YOU feel about your body. I agree with the Zgimyster....do not fdo it for any other individual. And for the record....I'd lost a considerable amount of weight back in 1999, right after I had the brain anureysm.....notis has nothing ot do with the choice i was about to make. I had gone thgout life wiht "pupy boobs, from breastfeeding my daughter. I had no butt (but a fine place to put one. So, I went and got myself a set of 38 D salines........totally different look on a skinny lady, no butt, same procedure I had excess fat taken from under my chin(double chin....now I can wear turtle necks. NO probles all these years until the mammo place found a suspecious spot........ 8 out of 10 women will be diasnossed wiht beast cancer by the year2010. Scarry thing. Before Christmas, I'll have expanders from inside taken out and a slildcone implant inserted to take it plcae. IT will match the big girl on the right ( . ) ( . ) yeah! Looking forward to this!

I had breast implants last year. I don't look like I have bowling balls attached to my chest. There are so many variables that you can change so you don't end up looking like posh spice with her grapefruit halves bolted on. It hurt when people made comments about my small chest, either as a joke or as a blatant and random "you have small...." I put on weight on my bottom half and have a really small waist and chest so my A-B cup looked out of proportion. While I respect women who can feel confident with their smaller breasts, I couldn't. It made me absolutely burn on the inside when a busty bikini model came on tv, was on a billboard, covered every magazine on the shelf. You can't ignore it, I can't anyway, I was sick of being made to feel ugly because I didn't fit that mold. So I had my surgery, I'm now a C-D cup depending on the brand. But unfortunately I am not happy with the result and will consider further surgery in the future. Yes I am an silly for wanting better breasts but if it will help my self esteem than I'm all for it. I find it hard to have ugly breasts when society calls for perfection.
