I always seem to have freezing cold feet and hands, making my whole body feel chilled. Sometimes they get so bad that a toe will go numb and my feet turn purple. I have always assumed it was bad circulation but a freind told me that it was a sign of arthritis. I am only 22 years old. I am open to any oppinions and of advise, besides wearing gloves and socks. Help please. Smile

Hey, I have the whole cold feet/hands too. I'm always wearing socks when I go to bed. Alot of members of my family have this too, and it hasn't turned into any health problem at all, just more of an annoyance. But just in case you might want to go to your dr, becasue it is a symptom of alot of things ex: hypo thyroid, anemia, and low iron, etc, but if anything a trip to your doc will put your mind at ease!!! Take care

I Agree
I really doubt that it is arthritis as well. I hav a thyroid problem and I get really extremeties as well. Well, they used to be a lot worse when I lived on the east coast but since I moved out west things seem to have gotten better. I'm sure a doctor could help. You should check it out.

Cold Feet
Try rubbing raw ginger onto your feet - the oil will penetrate the skin and heats you up from the inside out. Or grate some ginger and put it in a warm bath and steep for a while.
