Q: side effects for acipHex and protonics

My 96 year old grandmother has tiredness-after she eats a small amount of something she gets strenght immedatley..She has had blood work and a urine test this week all came back normal. She has been taking 20 mg protonics daily and sometimes acipHex. could this have side effects? what about a test for glucose?
