I have this weird case of pityriasis rosea. It has covered my chest. My breast are covered. I have very few on the other parts of my body, but it is the most horrific thing I have ever had. Please help me out there if you have found a way to cure this. My doc said no cure wait it out, but it doubles daily. I started with 8 about 2 weeks ago and now I have hundreds. Sad I really would like HELP!

I have it
I have it now and I've had it once before. There is no cure. You just have to wait it out cause from what I've read the duration is different for everybody.. The last time I had them on my stomach and a few on my arms. it itched like crazy and took about a month to completely disappear. The only thing I took was benadryl to help with the itching. I cant believe I have it again. I went to the dermatologist this morning and he gave me an ointment to put on it. It doesnt itch like the last time(thank goodness) but the spread is different( they are mostly on my legs and arms now). What really sucks is that I have a vacation coming up which messes with my swimsuit plans. Hopefully it goes quickly.

pityriasis rosea
I've just caught this skin infection out of no where and I start a job in two weeks. I notice that I had the herald patch on my ankle for a week and a half then came other bumps starting in the middle of my chest, under my breast, under my arms and then on my back. I was freak out so I went to the ER and thats when I found out what this was. Know before all these symtoms started happening I kept my niece for 7days and notice she had bumps on her back, leg and stomach. Her mother was in the hospital for those 7days being treated for a sexual disease. Could I have caught this infection through my family members or not? It seems pretty strange that after my baby niece left my house she was admitted in the hospital for some viral infection in which the mother cliam it was the staff infection. Would this be the cause of my illness or not?
