pregnancy after abortions Posted: 01-28-08 16:45pm
I had 3 abortions when I was youger. I'm
so ashamed of that but I didn't have a
supporting family and it seem like the
only thing to do. I know it sounds stupid
and I'll never do that again. Well I'm
older know and I'm worried that I'll never
be able to have kids I even feel like I
don't deserve to. Now I really want to be
a mother I'm not trying or anything yet.
What's gonna happen if I do become
pregnant or will I be able to.

I've never heard of abortions having any
affect on future pregnancies. Don't be
ashamed, you did what was best at that
point in time. If and when you become
pregnant, and there is nothing else wrong
with you (i.e. heart troubles, etc.), then
you should have a happy and healthy
pregnancy and baby!
Good Luck

Thank you, That really did make me feel a
lot better since I been in a deep
depression since. Babies are a blessing I
just hope I do get a chance to experience
it. My little cousin just had a baby and
she's only 15. I really felt bad cause I
was a little older. I didn't have the
sence to just have mines I was so afraid
and here she is 15 and doing it.

Yes, I know how you must feel but you
cannot live your life in regret. You have
lived, you have learned andyou will be a
more compassionate and understanding
person. Your baby will be loved and cared
for. You will be a mother who has known
pain and heartache and you will be a
better mother for it.

Abortions don't have any effect on
fertility, don't worry.
I don't think that abortions have any
effect on future pregnancies, but check
with a Dr. to make sure if ya like. The
past is the past and you are a stronger
person now, goodluck in w/e you decide to
do!

As long as the procedures were perfomed
correctly it shouldn't have any affect on
fertility. However everyone should meet
with their doctor before trying to
conceive and most doctors will ask if not
you should mention it.
