How many calories do you consume in a day,
what would you consider too little or too
much?

Noooo doing it way! I just got a call
back from the nutritionist at the hospital
and she said that I should be at my max.
Calorie intake now which is 2875 calories
a day! I told her she is crazy and I
don't think I could ever reach that much
even when I do start eating normally. I
told her what my intake was and she got
mad at me and threatened a dietician
meeting with my mom and doctor, which is
dumb, so I dunno either I got to do
something or deal with these dumb meetings
where everyone shares their
dissapointments. Wow...Decisions
decisions!

No alexa I wouldnt reccomend counting em..
It all gets in ur head too much , ur
better off not trying to count.. I try
for 1,800 cals a day.. I normally consume
1,800-2,500.. . And meg.. Eatin that
many cals when trying to recover from an
e/d is normal believe it or not. I went
through the same thing after I got outta
the hospital.. Especially if ur
underweight. But I would try consuming at
least 1,800 then to eat normally and
healthly.. And to keep u out of the swing
of ur e/d.

now, I literally crashed hard, my max
right now is 400. I was completely fine
and then boom, as I am sure you know it
just sneeks up on ya. Arg! I dunno what
to do anymore, answer me honestly kari, is
your son the only reason why you are
trying to get and stay well?

No, not the only reason. He was the
main reason in the beginning.... But I
mean I dont wanna be stuck there forever.
Its sooo much better if u can leave ur
e/d behind. I havent fully yet of
course.... But its so much better if u
can get better.. U dont feel as
trapped.. Depressed etc. I dont even
believe in gradually increasing.. I
would try that over and over and never get
up high enough.. Basically u just gotta
be strong, bite the bullet, and start
eating a healthy amount. Its very
hard.. But doable. Plus, ive
definitly learned,.. U may stay smaller
while eatin 4-500 cals a day.. But boy
does it do a job on ur metabolism.. So
in the end all it does is make u gain..
U just gotta stop it as soon as u can..
U can seriously do it, even if it doesnt
seem like a reachable goal, it is.
Trying not to count as much can help to.
Or making a meal plan of healthy eating
with good foods so u dont feel as bad.
(with enough cals tho) some days I wanna
eat less.. But I mean I know if I start
restricting again..Bulimia would just be
waitin around the corner....But I
seriously hope u try,its not a way to live
forever!

I hate when my nutritionist tries to tell
me that im supposed to have about 2000
because it seems like such a massive
number and it just discourages me. Right
now i'm at 600 and on a good day about 800
plus exercise....

I have no idea how many I eat, but I know
that I am doing ok, as I am starting to
take off a little bit of weigh. I can
feel by hip bone now!!
