My graduation is in 2 weeks and I was just wondering does anyone know the fastest way I could lose 20lbs or less..Can anyone give me a food plan..(such as the grapefruit diet).. Smile .I'm ready to take on any kind of diet or excercise routine..Any advice would be really helpful since i'm basically illiterate when it comes to basic nutrition or a healthy diet.....Also I was wondering how many glasses on average do you drink a day?..Thnx...

If you do the induction part of the atkins diet you can drop about 10 in 2 weeks. Go to the atkins website it will tell you how. Take a good multi vitamin. Good luck, make sure to follow the first two weeks exactly and don't cheat and you should do fine.

Read what I just posted to you in your calories post. Honestly, I dont think atkins is effective. U cut out all carbs, which actually isnt healthy for you. .And basically u just eat the fatty foods etc.. . It might help u lose some weight at first and quick, but it most likely will come right back once u start eating carbs again. .And u cant cut out carbs forever...

And hun.. Trying to lose 20 lbs in 2 weeks.. Well thats being a little too hard on yourself. To do that u would have to prolly starve and please please dont do that to yourself.. Plus, u will feel worse because your body will go into starvation mode and u will just gain it back plus some and quicker then u think. (im not just talking out of my a$$ by the way..Ive had an eating disorder for 2 yrs now, and am trying to recover, but I talk to nutritionists all the time so im very aware of nutrition) you;d be surprised tho, if u start following a healthy meal plan, even if u only lose like 2-3 lbs in 2 weeks, u will feel better, and therefore look better also.

I know this is alittle late bute you can lose 20 lbs in 2 weeks ive done it in 1 week.

Only water (no gattaraid)
no sodium (salt mostly)
dont swallow your spit
where a trash bag (im not kidding)
do 2-3 hours of hard exersize sprinting/wrestling/soccar/ect
where sweaters
where joggers
turn a heater up to 100 degrees and sit crunched up in a corner

warning you will be very tired take a day off every week and if it is fat thats there then it will go away.

The problem with going on a fast to lose weight is that it doesn't last. You will regain the weight as soon as you return to a normal diet, plus a little more. Not to mention the fact that you will feel tired and miserable during the whole process.

Also, the things you're suggesting such as turning up the heat and wearing a trash bag do not make you lose fat, but water weight and muscle. I understand the atheletes sometimes have to make severe changes in order reach a certain goal, but this method is likely to kill someone. Heat stroke anyone?

I realize this person has probably graduated by now. Graduation is one day, why lose weight for one day only to return to the same lifestyle? Why not make graduation the day you make a change in your eating and fitness habits?

Hi there! It is very unhealthy to lose that much weight in that length of time, it is better to be overweight than sick, in the hospital or passing out.
Congratulations on your graduation!

Of course your coaches approved it because they don't care how you lose the weight, as long as you "make weight" which is very unhealthy and a good way to lead people into eating disorders. What you described is a good way to be malnourished and to have a heat stroke. It isn't healthy and isn't something you should be recommending to other people. And like the other posts said, even if you do lose weight doing that, as soon as you start eating again you will gain it all back.
