Q: Travel vaccinations
asked by: DoctorQuestion on January 28th, 2008
I have a question about my 21 year old daughter. She is going to travel to Egypt in 2 weeks from now. We live in Sweden. Does she need to get vaccinated, and if so, what kind of vaccination does she need?

Before traveling to Egypt your daughter should be vaccinated against: Hepatitis A, polio, typhoid and rabies (if there is a risk). She doesn’t need these vaccines if she is pregnant. She should also check her routine vaccinations against Mumps-Measles-Rubella (MMR), tetanus and Hepatitis B.
