Q: How do I know if he likes me?

This may seem a little juvenile but I want to know if this guy might possibly like me?

I met him originally in my Chemistry class. We were both musicians so we hit it off pretty well. Well I graduated and didn't see him for several months.
I went to a football game recently and when I saw him he came up to me and hugged me and we talked for 30 minutes. Then I didn't see him for a couple more months but the next time I saw him my mom was sitting at the table so when he walked up to me (with a big smile on his face) he just shook my hand. Is there a way to tell if he likes me from this or am I just wanting him to like me because I do?

It's hard to tell since you haven't seen too much of him since school. I would say it is merely a casual friendship/acquaintance. He may also been too busy with life in general to have time for a girlfriend too. If he really liked you and wanted things to go a little farther than just friendship, he would probably ask for your number or try to set up another meeting to see you again.

If you are really that interested, you could try suggesting getting together at a later date, just be careful not to be too forward.

hmmm the hugging is a bit questionable.

do you both laugh all the time when your together even at the stupidist things?
do you hate the parting bit because you know you mite not see him for a while.
