Q: She won't stay asleep

The last two nights I've been having a hard time getting Jay to stay asleep. She conks out just fine, but wakes up within 5-30 minutes of falling asleep. I've tried EVERYTHING I can think of... I've held her, put her in her car seat, out her in her swing (lying down AND sitting up) put her in her crib (flat on her back, propped up with blankets, and propped on a boppy) lying in her bassinet (same) I've even tried laying down with her. I've given her her Nukky and kept it from her. I've played music and made sure it's silent. She's dry, she's not too warm, not too cold, and she's full. I don't know why she won't sleep! She sleeps from 2 am to 6 am, then 7-11 am, and then is UP except for short naps the rest of the day. I'm getting worried. Is this a phase or should I call the doctor or what?

few nights, not two. I'm not sure how many though. 4 or 5, maybe?

omg you are ME!
kristen would do the same thing except she would sleep from like 11-12 to about 6 or 7 sometimes 8 and wake up ALL day. maybe take 2 30 minute naps at a time but thats it!
you know what gets her to sleep now? i bought a CD of nature sounds. like waterfalls and stuff. ocean noises and rainforest and all that. and she sleeps to it
OR
car rides
alot of babies love to be in the car

I''l try the tummy, it just makes me nervous... a few weeks ago it would tick her of SO bad to be on her tummy, she'd try to roll over Laughing Maybe she's changed though.

I've done the nature sounds though, I'm not sure if she likes them or not. I don't think she cares.

She's up again now -_- I'm going to go put her on her tummy.

Yeah it made me nervous too, just don't put her on anything she can sink down into. Every few years they seem to change which way they should be sleeping, I remember my mom being freaked out that my oldest son slept on his back.

Next appt. is on the 1st... shes not constipated because she's pooped twice today, just like always. IDK about the gas, but I can't feel any air in her tummy.... I'll try burping her again.

Ew maybe its just a stage she's going through. It's the part i'm not looking forward to with having this new baby. Hopefully it gets better soon, it's hard to go without sleep.

Still offering?

She's STILL up.. now I'm REALLY worried. She's had a half-hour nap at 2 and another on at 12:30... otherwise she's been up since 11 AM!

Katrina can you call your mom and ask her advice? What about your bf's mom? Can either one of them come take a look at her? Something is definitely bothering her, though, in my best guess.
