I would wait and see how long it lasts. Sometimes the slightest stress or change in things can interrupt your cycle even if you are mostly normal. I would say not to go to the doctor unless it's a funny color, smell, texture or if you are bleeding a lot more than normal. Otherwise, if it continues after 7 days then I would see a doc.

It has been 7 days to the day. I started last tuesday and im still bleeding.

The blood still looks red, no reddish/brownish color to it as if im ending my cycle.

where is the pain? Is it lower down near your pelvis? Is it on one side? Not to alarm you, but if I were you i'd look at the possibility of an ectopic pregnancy. I had one a year and a half ago and a week after I ended my period, I began bleeding very red blood (not like the normal "period" stuff) along with pain in my lower left pelvic area. Because I was not pregnant in my uterus, but in my left tube, I still had my period.

Like I said, i'd look into that if I were you....
