Literature on wound management is scarce.
In a recent study, scientists found that
wounds can be uncovered and allowed to get
wet in the first 48 hours after minor skin
excision without increasing the incidence
of infection. Nonetheless, experts
advise to keep your stitches completely
dry for the first 24 hours.
Does your husband have an antibiotic
ointment or cream to apply to the wound?
