Is my premium too high?
Posted: 01-27-08 08:53am

I enrolled in AARP United Health Care. I'm 57, average health,1,000. dollar deductible. I'm paying 466.00 per month , I know that health care is high , but can anyone suggest a company that may be more reasonable? Tell me how much you pay , so I can compare( don't forget age, etc.) Confused

That sounds good to me.. CONSIDERING

I am 26 and pay 300$ a month for top notch insurance with a 1,000 deductible.

You are more than twice my age, and your rates WILL be much higher.

It doesn't sound high to me. My wife is paying that amount for COBRA (which will run out in June). We're about in your age group. We're searching feverishly for a policy for her, and she's been denied coverage by several outlets. We're not fining any premium lower than $750 per month.
