What do you consider to be the best
insomnia cure? What are all the different
things you've tried to go to sleep? I'm
trying to get some information together
and look at personal experience rather
than a biased opinion.
Thanks,

Room 65 degrees, no distractions, no tv or
radio, comfortable sheets and a nice
comfortable blanket, not too thick.
Comfortable pajamas/sleeping attire...try
to go to bed the same times each night.
Don't read in bed, balance the check book,
get in a heated discussion if the phone
rings, no bright lights, keep it as dark
as possible. Your bedroom should be for
SLEEPING only...(sex)....not a desk
area/craft room no distractions! If you
lay htere awake for longer than 30
minutes, get up and leave the bedroom.
Read a book/ magazine, do something
relaxgin for a few minutes, the ngo back
to bed and try again. Now, the bad
part.......this sounds all well and good.
But....I have not been able to go to bed
and get a decent nights rest for over 14
years. I do not get sleepy, I can lay
there all night and see the clock to know
each hour. I either get me a cup of
Nyquil, or take an ambien around 10. The
benedryl takes forever to kick in. I've
tried the noise machines (ocean, rainfall,
white noise, even a fan
running...........my problem is I have way
too many cars in my head and not enough
lanes. Can't seem to shut down. Always
thinking of something else I need to do or
be doing..........Curious to to what you
find out. Keep me posted ! I am always
open for suggestions!

Thanks for the information
And have you ever heard of Sleep Tracks?
I'm a big fan of their product myself
because it induces sleep through brain
waves. If you're interested, you can try
looking at some of the tips and tricks
I've got on my website, but the point of
this was to find out more and prove what
works and what doesn't.
