As my husband and I got
older, it seemed that we became closer and
closer to the values of his parents. Now,
as my son and daughter get older, it is
like the same thing is happening.
I did love the picture of your daughter on
her horse. It is a beautiful animal.
Very graceful. How many hands high?
In reading your words, it just seemed you
were more my age.
Age/experience/wisdom all boil down to
communication with another person with
like views.
I'm pretty close in age to you, lol! .
I just got a late
start in being a mom.
My daughter is reading this over my
shoulder and she says "Hi" to you.
The horse (her name is Fancy) is a little
over 14 hands, just makes it over being a
pony.

That makes me happy. Hi back to you
both.
Does your daughter do jumping and riding
events? Her horse has beautiful legs and
stance.
Once, when I had a healing ministry, I was
asked to go to Los Altos Hills to an
estate where they had a horse that was in
big trouble. This horse used to be ridden
at the Cow Palace in San Francisco at big
competitions. But, the horse had begun to
have real problems. He kept banging into
the sides of his stall, hurting his back
leg.
Anyway, because they asked me to go, I
went. They brought out this horse. I was
actually sitting in an open area. The
horse came right up to me. He looked at
me, and pawed his back leg, put down his
head into my hands. They gave me a stool
to sit under this horse. He was 16 hands.
I put my hands on him, he stood very
quitely. Prayed for him. Did what I
could do to give him energy.
Later, they said he was healed. If that
had not worked for him, they were going to
put him down. You just never know where
you can actually help a person or any
living thing on this planet. I believe we
all have the gift and ability to make a
difference.

That is an amazing and beautiful story.
The horse my daughter is riding belongs to
her riding instr4uctor, and we were
leasing her. I wanted to buy her but her
front leg began to get lame. (Where are
you when we need you?) My daughter had
two accidents, one bad one not so bad.
The bad one occurred when the horse took
off in a full gallop down a
hill. Her instructor had to yell
for her to jump off, at a full gallop!
She did and got a slight concussion, thank
God that's all. The second one was
because of the bad leg, the horse, out of
nowhere, fell flat on her face, her two
front legs buckled. My daughter tumbled
over her head to the ground. She was ok,
but she doesn't like riding anymore. I understand, of
course. Maybe one day she will feel
differently.
I totally believe in the healing power.
My husband has it, and he calls it "white
light". He says it is Chi or energy that
flows through his hands, warming them as
it occurs.

Yes, It is True Posted: 01-27-08 19:10pm
There are all kinds of gifts. Some are
the gift of intelligence, the gift of
love, the gift of understanding, the gift
of healing and many more.
The gift of healing does come to some of
us who live in our communities. I believe
there is always going to be a healer
there.
Your husband it right. When you lay hands
on a person for healing, there is
incredible heat and light. Only thing is,
it is not you who has the deciding factor
on who is going to be healed. I would
always know even before a person came for
healing what their trouble was. I would
feel it in my own body. If it was a heart
problem, it was there within me, if it was
a problem with sorrow, it was shown to me.
Kind of like a head's up to prepare me, I
guess.
I was always so loved and supported by my
husband in my healing ministry. He
believed in me. I worked with cancer
patients and maybe it was just because
they had more time to live and more time
to work out their lives, they recovered.
All I know is I believe in the power of
love and prayer and laying on of hands.
Also, Your example of the study by Misuo
Hiramatsu at Hamamatsu Photonics in Japan
reinforces my belief that we do emit
electrical energy. Some people can see it
around a person, the aura. If given time,
a person can discern the aura. It is just
a matter of training yourself to see in
the spiritual sense.
Thanks for showing me that there are truly
others on this forum with the
understanding to know there truly are
things there for us to explore.

And your daughter, accidents are so scary.
I know. Maybe it was just wet and
slippery when they ran into trouble.
Thank God your daughter was wearing her
helmet. Was the horse young? If you had
a trainer, and it was her horse, it had to
be a good stable horse.
If your daugher loves riding, maybe she
will give it another try. My son went
through a broken back riding his bicycle
at 21 years of age and is still riding and
is the state champion for time trials in
his age group. He just never would give
up something that he loved with his heart
and soul.
Of course, that was not being told to bail
out whilst on a horse going super fast
down a hill. Your daughter must be very
brave and smart to be able to do that.

when they are so small?
